Chukars have not been introduced by MDC at Busch or any other Missouri site.  They are present on privately owned "hunting" lands.
I put hunting in quotes to indicate that the chukars and other species held by private businesses that charge people to shoot them were often in pens until the day of the "hunt" and those that escape the often unskilled shooters may stray off the private land.

It was about 10 years ago when one chukar was seen in a backyard in southwest Columbia, and more recently, at Rocky Fork Lakes Conservation area in north central Boone County.

I used to live right by Busch Wildlife and I saw a Chukkar there about 10 years ago so they've been there for sometime but rarely seen.  Must be quite small numbers.
