Christine, et al.,
As has been discussed, there is the possibility of seeing the Ferruginous Hawk from Sugar Grove Road. See the March 2021 issue of the Bluebird online at [ https://mobirds.org/ASM/Bluebird.aspx | https://mobirds.org/ASM/Bluebird.aspx ] for the site guide for R-1 Lake that is on the same road (called Roosevelt at the west end, then becomes Sugar Grove).
A map is included in that site guide. The Beef Farm and section of the road where hawk has been seen is immediately east of R-1 Lake.

PLEASE ALL NOTE: There is traffic on that road that is not bird related. Please remain alert to the presence of others, and do not impede traffic. Birding privileges and birding reputations are much on the line.

Me also. I realize we can’t enter the farms, but perhaps we can see it from an outer road?
