Oops, I forgot to mention: the BBL species list is not up to date, even on common names. E.g., it still lists Magnificent Hummingbird, which recently was split and the U.S. species reverted to its old name, Rivoli's Hummingbird. When the list is eventually updated, it's anyone's guess what the alpha code will be.
