Statement by T. S. Eliot on the opening of the Emily Hale letters at Princeton

Now we know more about that private paper of Eliot's that
Valerie Eliot quoted in the The Waste Land facsimile. It was
his response to the Emily Hale collection of his letters and
was was to be made public when his letters to Hale were.

Part of the quote we know and the part that is new (at least
to me):
To me, it [the marriage to Vivienne] brought the state
of mind out of which came The Waste Land. And it saved
    me from marrying Emily Hale.
