The Red-necked Phalarope was still present in Pool 14, viewed by walking from the "cul-de-sac" off the end of the 2nd one-way loop. At the blind, veer right and walk to end of mowed area. Do not go past tall vegetation at the end; view the water area by scope.

There is a group trip tomorrow morning scheduled from 7:30-noon to bird all of Eagle Bluffs, led by John Besser of CAS. The phalarope trek will be included.

To participate, meet at the McBaine Katy Trail parking lot about 7:20. Bring scope and FRS radio if you have one. Folks with scopes will share.
