And I will add that these are awesome photos!!! Please come and see the exhibit!

And bird while you're here! It was very birdy today with warbler species including: Kentucky, American Redstart, Yellow Rumped (Myrtle), Blue Winged, Tennessee, Northern Parula and Black and White (I am sure there was more, but I had to do some more things too, so I didn't get a good look at all of our warblers). We also have a nesting pair of Pileated Woodpeckers! We have had a red headed woodpecker here lately, and of course the usually woodpeckers. We have Baltimore orioles, several rose breasted grosbeaks, both species of tanagers, wood thrush, swainsons thrush and gray cheeked thrushes.

So while you are here looking at Margy's awesome exhibit, come and bird and share your lists on eBird or to me so I can enter them on eBird.

Thanks! Happy birding!!

Subject: No sighting - "Warblers!" Exhibit now at Powder Valley CNC

All are invited to view my new exhibit at Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center. It is entitled, “Warblers!” and will be on display through May, 2018.

All 30 birds in the images are shown near life-size and were taken in our yard, “Shady Oaks Sanctuary”, which is St. Louis Audubon's Bring Conservation Home Certified “Platinum”. There are 29 species represented and five of these are Species of Conservation Concern, facing the highest risk of extinction without conservation action.

The exhibit is free; the fine art metal prints will be available for purchase. So, stop by and enjoy some more warblers on a rainy day in May!
