Meet at HQ at 7:30 a.m. and bird until around noon. Looking forshorebirds, waterfowl, gulls, terns, warblers, and Nelson’s Sparrow.

Bring:  Binoculars, and spotting scope and FRS radio if youhave one.

This trip is especially for children 9 years old and up(accompanied by an adult). Meet at Songbird Station’s parking lot at 8 a.m.We’ll walk at the Audubon Nature Sanctuary off of Bray (at Cunningham) andcheck out Audubon’s restored prairie as well as look for somebirds.  


 
*For this trip returning to Songbird Station: SongbirdStation will have cookies at the store for us after we return from the trip.They will also offer a 10% discount to field trip participants on the day ofthe trip. Thank you Songbird Station!


 
CAS field trips are free and open to anyone interested inbirds. All trips are probably a “go” even in light rain. If in doubt, contact atrip leader the evening before or one hour before the scheduled meeting time.These trips are appropriate for adults, teens and children 9 years old and up(accompanied by an adult) who have demonstrated an active interest in birds. Besure to bring binoculars, field guide, water, snack, layered clothing,sunscreen, sensible shoes appropriate for the weather and season.
