Lost Valley was very active with breeding birds today.   There were eight species of breeding warblers including American Redstart, Ovenbird, Worm-eating, Blue-winged, and Common Yellowthroat.  Blue Grosbeak trail produced a Prairie Warbler and migrants included Yellow-rumped and Palm Warblers.  There were also several Wood Thrushes and Red-eyed, White-eyed, and Warbling Vireos.  There was a Broad-winged Hawk perched on the power lines along Highway 94.

Riverlands was disappointing with few shorebirds all Yellowlegs.  The Soras remain at Heron Pond.  There were many Yellowlegs and few Pectoral Sandpipers at Dresser Island CA.
