I think when I replied to David's email it only went to him.   Below is my 
reply.  I apologize if this is a duplicate.
 
And No I didn't get a photo, my camera is broken and through two panes of  
glass (dirty) my cell phone just isn't up to the job.  The feeder is a  
platform feeder about 15 feet away. I'll try to keep watch in case the bird  
comes back and try to get some sort of a picture.

No I don't think so, larger withwhite eye stripe large bill and  wing bars. 
 I'm certainly no expert though.

Hi,
 
I'm sure I don't see all the email from the group, but I had a female  
Rose-breasted Grosbeak at my feeder about three this afternoon.  I  don't 
remember seeing one this early.  When is the normal time for them  to come through 
the St. Louis area?
