Good morning,

We ended up with a record high species count, not only for 4 Rivers
CBC, but an all time high count for Missouri! An astounding 112 species!

Highlights included, first count records for Am. Woodcock &
Bonaparte’s Gull. 2nd records for Great Egret, Inca Dove, and N. Saw-whet
Owl. 3rd for Eastern Phoebe & Sedge Wren.

Of course, the dearth of Red-headed Woodpeckers was quite noteworthy.

*Congratulations and thanks to everyone for making this a highly
successful count! *

Happy Holidays,

Mark Robbins

4-Rivers CBC coordinator
