Larry Olpin called about 5:30 and said he had a long-earred owl in his back yard. I ran over to see it because LEOW have been a nemisis bird for me for many years. There it is in the middle of Warrensburg! It is still there now. Kurt Dean and a few other birders have also been over to see it too. Any one else wanting to see it is welcome to go see it. Larry is having trouble with his email, so I am posting this for him.
Larry's phone number is 660 441 1480. If f anyone is interested please call Larry and he will give you directions.

I visited Roaring River today and had at least three Northern Parula and a Yelliw-throated Warbler. Also had an Osprey with a big trout that made it hard to fly.
