I birded Long Branch Lake and SP (Macon Co.) this cold afternoon. The
Little Chariton Prairie has been burnt and there were few interesting birds
there including 2 RUSTY BLACKBIRDS, a VESPER SPARROW, and several other
species. The lake itself was pretty dead except for few Ring-billed Gulls.
There was a Golden-crowned Kinglet near the cedars by the dam as well. Full
report on ebird.
Later,
Peter Kondrashov
