Swan Lake Peninsula
Two Rivers NWR Calhoun Co., IL

The Marbled Godwit continues as well as 2 Am. Avocets and a Black-necked Stilt. All foraging together.

Directions: Pull into the Swan Lake Peninsula Entrance. Well marked sign in front. Park in the lot and walk the gravel levee road until you reach a small fenced in area that holds a Bobcat and other equipment. There will be a little gravel platform that looks out into refuge area. Birds were straight out from there, maybe 40 yards out.

Lots of ducks, Am. White Pelicans etc.
