Tower Grove Park
Gaddy Garden

Mid morning at the Gaddy Garden was interesting. Inside was an alert Barred Owl adult and across the mulch was an immature Cooper's Hawk that was calling constantly. Coop had a full crop and was probably a female based on size. This was around the bench that is in front of the bubbler. They both ended up in close proximity to each other with the Barred sleeping and the Coop still calling.

I did squeeze out some passerines, although nothing new: Golden-winged Warbler male, Canada, B&W, Redstart female, Yellow-bellied Flycatcher.

Quite enjoyable, nonetheless.
