I was about halfway across Cora Island Road yesterday about 4:30. While viewing a bunch of egrets I heard a single note and immediately thought crane. Looked around but guess I should have scanned the area better. There were lots of egrets and shorebirds, but nothing of special interest. Mostly pecks, couple stilt and some YL's. 3 Caspian Terns.
