Sunday, May 17TH Birding Local Farms Part 2: Goatsbeard Farm & Sullivan Farm
Destination: Goatsbeard Farm & Sullivan Farm in North Boone and Howard Counties
Departure Point: Wendy’s parking lot, 2116 Bernadette Dr. Columbia, MO 65203 (By the Columbia Mall) Carpool leaves at 7:30 a.m.

Second of two trips exploring diversified farms north of Columbia.
We’ll begin at Goatsbeard Farm, an award-winning goat cheese dairy near Harrisburg, and explore their hilly pastures, woods, and stream corridors. By mid to late morning we’ll move on to Sullivan Farm, which raises pastured pork, produce, and more in the open rolling hills of central Howard County, which often has a nice selection of open-land birds. This trip will be finished around noon or 1 pm. Rain date will be May 24.
