on 4/25/15.

"Tri-colored Heron Pond" - unofficial name of pond east of Heron
Pond about half way between Heron Pond and maintenance building
- SURF SCOTER (!) - maybe one of the 6 birds reported on IL listserve
located at Horseshoe Lake SP (Madison co, ILLINOIS) on Sat.
Was hanging in the channel with other divers (scaup, Canvasback)
- WILSON'S PHALAROPEs - 2 birds
- DUNLIN
- L-B DOWITCHERS
- Pects, yellowlegs and maybe other shorebirds
- Pintails, Gadwall, Shovelers, B-W Teal, one lone G-W Teal.

Water seemed to be going up quickly in Ellis Bay.
Gates closed at MP Dam.
