Birded Lost Valley Hiking/Biking Trail this morning with Julie and Shawn Clubb.
Saw only one Louisiana Water Thrush. That was by the low-water bridge.
Saw or heard at least a dozen Yellow-throated Warblers and eight or nine Parulas.
Several Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, were along the trail.
Woods seemed to be filled with Eastern Towhees and Cardinals.
Two White-eyed Vireos were flying over the trail, just before Beaver dam.
Found a pair of Black-and-white warblers, male and female, and a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, along with White-breasted Nuthatches, Ruby-crowned Kinglets and Chickadee (sp.) on trail that runs along the ridge behind the beaver dam.
Other birds included Pileated Woodpeckers, Red-bellied Woodpeckers and a Downy woodpecker, White-throated Sparrows, a Field Sparrow and a lone Turkey Vulture that glided over.
