This workshop is designed to help WI TAs prepare to work in the WI classroom. Sessions Include: Strategies for establishing grading criteria, balancing content and mechanics, evaluating writing, conferencing with students, Ideas on defining mutually beneficial Faculty/TA working relationships, Resource materials for WI TAs.
Writing In The Sciences

In this workshop we will discuss how all science writing must relate to purpose, audience, types of evidence, organization, tone/style, and graphic presentation. Workshop leaders include MU faculty who are experienced researchers in science writing.
