I birded the western edge of Thomas Hill Reservoir (THR), Golden Ave. gravel road between the two arms of the lake and T Highway across both arms of THR for a few hours yesterday. Time was short and it got dark very early.

28 species total with a few good birds:

    4 Horned Grebe

2 Bald Eagles – a pair sitting on their big nest on Golden Ave.

100 Bonaparte’s Gulls

    4 Red-headed Woodpeckers

  50 Cedar Waxwings

3 Harris’s Sparrows – in bushes in small stream crossing areas on Golden Ave. FOY

45 House Finches – sitting on power lines at intersection of Golden Ave and T Highway.
