LOTS of bird activity on my weekly walk at jerry smith park. had 3 fos ruby-crowned kinglets. good variety of sparrows- chipping, field, song, savannah, swamp, white-
throated and dark-eyed juncos. great looks at a really nice female sapsucker- deep red on the throat and quite a bit of yellow on her belly. increasing numbers of yellow-
rumped warblers- one had the biggest yellow butt i've ever seen. also had lingering eastern phoebe, summer tanager and gray catbird.
