In the fluddle where the pipeline crosses the road, most of the way back to
JCSP parking area: mallards, many blue-wing teal, some green-wing teal, some
gadwall. Along the road, horned lark & killdeer.
At the tailwater parking area, a falcon. Couldn't get the glasses on it,
but it sounded like a merlin. Possible??
In Ellis Bay, small flocks of coot, ruddy ducks, and a10-count flock of
pied-bill grebes. Some Canadas, some pelicans, and a turkey vulture perched
in a small tree observing the Audobon Center.
