Just across the river in S. Illinois at LaRue -Pine Hills Natural Area, a
Sora Rail was calling in the swamp yesterday, April 9. It was heard from
the low spot in the road about 1/2 mile west from the Winter's Pond parking
area about 4:00 p.m. (Also, the snakes are finally moving.) And there were
FOY Rough-winged Swallows, and LA Waterthrush.
