I had to get out for a little birding, only 25 minutes at Philips Lake. There is an open circle/elipse of water almost full of Canada Geese. Most of them were sleeping, so hard to pick out Cackling, but I had at least 3 Cackling Geese. I was surprised to see 5 Trumpeter Swans there. Most of them were sleeping too.
Ducks: Mallard, Gadwall, C Goldeneye and Ring-necked Duck.
Snowing here again!
