The Columbia Audubon Society is having a First Day Bird Hike on the Katy Trail on Wednesday, January 1 from 1:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

We'll walk from the Katy Trail McBaine Trailhead to Columbia's Wetland Cell #2 to look for waterfowl and other birds. A Golden Eagle was seen in this area for the Christmas Bird Count. Bring binoculars and spotting scopes. Total walking distance is around 3 miles.
