O.K., it is snowing here in Columbia on top of the ice.  This gives the juncos and White-thrated Sparrows a little traction on the deck.  It's the kind of day that makes vicarious birding attractive.

Here is a piece on Snowy Owls and what's going on with them, mostly on the east coast--some neat activities, possibly some things Missourians might do, too.
