Given the number of homosexuals and lesbians among Eliot's acquaintance and
among the "modernists" in general, I would assume Eliot took it quite in his
stride. I doubt very much that he would have sneered at Keynes or Woolf. I
don't know what CR said on this and have no interest in knowing.
