I went to Eagle Bluffs last night and observed a Black-crowned Night Heron in Pool 13 across from the Distribution Channel.  The best view is to walk the levee that runs along the north side of Pool 13 due to heavy vegetation on the road side.  There were also 5 Green Herons in the same area.

An Osprey was hanging out on a Sycamore branch overlooking Perche Creek across from Pool 15 just before the last sharp turn of the road.

Only a few shorebirds were observed - Solitary, Spotted and Pectoral Sandpipers.

Enjoy the great weather!
