Weldon Spring, Mo.

When the trail offers a choice of where to walk, we choose left which goes to the ponds etc. towards mile 1.
When one goes left, a little opening is seen on the right hand side that is bracketed with trees. We saw the following there today:
Kentucky Warb.
Cerulean-male
Common Yellow-throat
Scarlet Tananger-immature, 'Chic Burr' call
Wood Thrushes
Eastern Phoebe
Acadian
Blue gray Gnatcatchers attending to young
Indigo Bunting
Northern Parula
White-throated Vireo

Very impressive.
