We set out to observe nesting activity there and weren't disappointed:

Red-shouldered Hawk
White-eyed Vireo
Yellow breasted Chat
Acadian Flycatcher
Juvenile Yellow billed Cuckoo observed
Northern Parula-nest may have been blown down. We watched on our knees as an adult attended to at least 2 fuzzy heads that were 2 inches off the ground in thick brush. Amazing.
We walked about 1 3/4 miles.

Blue headed Vireo (no nesting) was also a surprise observation.

Bike race there on Sunday, June 9th.
