Here is what I got today: RMBS- Dunlin - 6 Semipalmated Sandpiper ~ 60 Semipalmated Plover - 6 Least Sandpiper - several White-rumped Sandpiper ~ 10 Least Tern - 4 Black Tern ~ 25 Common Tern - 2 but couldn't find the birds John Solodar saw yesterday. They must have left. It rained quite a bit today. Columbia Bottom Red-eyed Vireo - 2 near the confluence point also Cedar Waxwing - 25-30 Bank Swallow ~ 40 - I think they were nesting in the river bank. It rained most of the time I was there. Big Muddy NWR - Cora Island I walked down the path in the field and found: Indigo Bunting Eastern Kingbird - 2 Dickcissel - 1 Cedar Waxwing ~ 20 Song Sparrow - 1 Orchard Oriole - 2 male and 2 female I had a total of 40 species for the trip. I'd have seen more if it didn't rain today.
