I went to Eagle Bluffs this morning. Star School Road was in good shape but once I got to Eagle Bluffs the road had not been plowed and I decided not to chance it with my low clearance vehicle. There were quite a few Meadowlarks, Horned Larks, and Sparrows along Star School Road but I didn't see anything unusual. Also, several hundred Snow Geese feeding in the fields along the road.
I also went to Perry Phillips Lake and there a good number of ducks using the lake including Common Goldeneye, Hooded Merganser, Ruddy Duck, Canvasback, Scaup, Ring-necked, Gadwall and Mallard. Also, an adult bald eagle was present. The parking lot was plowed but the trail around the lake had not been touched.
