"German for the Professional Setting: From Curriculum to the Career"

With the cost of education rising, students want to know how their courses
will aid them on their future college applications, in job searches, and in their
careers. German for the professional setting, while sometimes regarded as a
university-level advanced language course, can be taught on all language
levels (A1-C2) from high school to college. This session explores the curricular
connection from beginning to advanced language courses through German for
the profession. Presentations are sought on courses, units, and activities,
focusing on German for the professional setting especially using projects with
a technological focus. Papers that address the curricular, pedagogical, and
institutional implications of this focus, opportunities as well as challenges, are
also welcome.
