After 33 years of birding I finily got my first SAW WHET OWL. I was at Henry
Sever (north), and I heard what I thought was a saw whet. I tried to
ematate it's call and that is when I heard a second bird. Right after that one
of the little guys flew in at about 20 feet. It was dark but the sky was still
light. Then it flew over my head at 4 or 5 feet. What a wonderful evening.
