For the record, Creve Coeur Lake is Missouri's largest natural lake.  Although it has been modified over the years, it wasn't created by damming or other types of manipulation of rivers.  It is a natural oxbow.
If this info is wrong, I will apologize.

Also, Thank You to all who filled me in about the 'sacred circle'.  I am sorry if my comment/question came off as coarse.
