A male Spotted Towhee was still present at Tower Grove Park today at 5:30pm.
He was associating with a flock of White-throated Sparrows and a Fox Sparrow
by the brick house about 100 yards east of the Gaddy garden. The high level
of pedestrian traffic and low flying helicopters had the birds very jumpy.
Is this weeks occurrence possibly an early record?
