There were a dozen Scissor-tailed Flycatchers on the
wires in front of MSSU, Joplin, Jasper County, this evening
at 6:30 pm.  This is the junctions of Newman Rd. and 
Duquesne Rd.  

In years past I have had as many as 70 on those wires
at this time of year.  Average year count is 30 to 40.    
Beautiful sight.
