Via the Burroughs Audubon Facebook page: A Red Phalarope, first found at Smithville Lake (Clay Co.) by Doug Willis yesterday afternoon, was relocated by several birders this morning. It has been associating with a flock of Franklin's Gulls in the center of the lake, probably best viewed in the morning/afternoon hours from Shelter 9, Crow's Creek picnic area.
