... that today is Flight of a Lawn Chair Day? In 1982, Larry Wadsworth made the first airborne flight in a lawn chair (lifted by a dozen plus balloons). He got as high as 16,000 feet before he began shooting down a few balloons with his BB pistol so he could descend. He landed safely.
