At Riverlands M.B.S. (St. Charles County) this morning (5:30 - 7:15AM):
 
9 - Blue-winged Teal, maybe they will breed.
1 - drake NORTHERN PINTAIL, pretty late
3 - COMMON GOLDENEYE, really late (more likely wounded), 2 males and a female swimming right up against Riverlands Way in Ellis Bay (across from Heron Pond)
1 - female Hooded Merganser
7 - Least Tern (my high count since they have arrived)
6 - Ring-billed Gull
- Didn't see the male Canvasback, but did not look to hard.
 
Shorebirds, all Heron Pond:
Killdeer
2 - Semipalmated Plover
2 - Spotted Sandpiper
14 - Semipalmated Sandpiper
4 - White-rumped Sandpiper
3 - Dunlin
 
Best animal was a RIVER OTTER swimming in Ellis Bay, very close to Riverlands Way, across from Wise Road.
