After an awesome afternoon at Eagle Bluffs, Jane Frazier and I took the Birders' Direct Route home by way of Philips Lake.  Saw the beautiful Horned Grebe in the same cove as reported yesterday.  Also on the lake were 5 Lesser Scaup and 6 Pied-billed Grebe with an Osprey soaring over the water.

Good birding!

Just got a call from Edge.
1.  There is a Horned Grebe coming into breeding plumage at the south end of Philips Lake in the cove nearest the high school.
