After reviewing my photos and field guides,  I am almost certain I saw a Spotted Sandpiper today.  This bird may be in transitional plumage.  The pot-bellied appearance, white eye-stripe, and orangish bill w/black spot were evident.  My sliver of doubt lays in behavior:  I did not notice an obvious bobbing while foraging.  Killdeer appeared to be larger.  I hope the bird sticks around for others to see.
