And thanks to Bryan, and Joe, for pointing the Snowy Owl out to my youngest son and I, we probably would never have found it hunkered down behind a small mound like it was. They also helped us find a better viewing angle. Lifer for both of us.

> 4 owl sp. day w/an Eastern Screetch calling at the end. Snowy, Short-eared, Barred, and an Eastern Screetch owl.@
> The field where the white snowy was seen is on private land. Observed 2 trucks on the barren field. Permission was from the owners. A MDC fellow saw the first truck when I flagged him down.
> The other owls were on the road that leads to the river. We watched and listened around open fields w/a parking place that had a typical conservation "kiosk".
> Thanks to Chrissy M. and her husband Andy for experiencing the "bonus" owls w/me! They may have better directions.
> The stars were brilliant in the evening!
