I finally got all my data entered into Audubon's CBC Website yesterday! Whew!

When I checked it again today, lo and behold, over half of the data was missing! Wow!

I received the message below from the website's Christmas Bird Count Director.

So, you may want to "hold off" entering your circles' data until we get a "go ahead" from the people administering the website.

Thanks for copying the error message below—it’s a huge help to us in trying to figure out what’s happened.

 

You were apparently on the system when an upgrade was put into the production server.  That’s why you got the error message below.

 

Since the functionality will not be complete for participants or the “completed” checkbox until after the first of the year, I’d recommend taking a break and trying again in January.  We’ll be emailing folks when things are tweaked and the functionality is complete.

While inputting data to the distance traveled/time traveled, when I pressed save the loading box remained active for several minutes. I closed the application and when I re-opened it I got this:

Server Error in '/CBC' Application.

The control collection cannot be modified during DataBind, Init, Load, PreRender or Unload phases.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.Web.HttpException: The control collection cannot be modified during DataBind, Init, Load, PreRender or Unload phases.

Now I am apparently locked out all together. I do not know if I am ever going to get my data loaded. I am becoming quite frustrated!
