Yesterday, I saw a skein of 100+ snow geese heading ESE as I went on my
walk. Shortly after I returned, I saw a beautiful Cooper's Hawk in a persimmon
tree behind the gazebo. It was watching the feeder area by the bald cypress.
It's the first Cooper's I've seen in quite a while since the Red-shouldered hawks
dominated the scene this year. There has also been a Red-tailed in the
neighborhood.
