Seems to me just demonstrating another facet of the obvious.

The 'mirroring' cited at the beginning is a tenet of NLP (neurolinguistic
programming) theory,
like a lot of NLP it's just derived from 'proper' social psychology:
deploying which,  it's perhaps not too startlingst that human social
intercourse can studied and classified with 'words-deployed'  as a
parameter, rather than the usual stuff like body language or eye contact or
facial expression.
