The Goethe Society of North America and the the MLA Executive Committee for the division of 18th- and early 19th-century German literature invite proposals for a panel that will be jointly sponsored by GSNA and the division. The topic should allow for broad, possibly multi-disciplinary approaches to the period.  Brief proposals should be sent by e-mail to both Karin Schutjer ([log in to unmask]) and Birgit Tautz ([log in to unmask]) by December 1, 2011.

Please note that this is a call for panel proposal only; not a call for a complete panel and/or papers. Once a panel topic is chosen, a CfP will go out. All presenters are required to become members of the MLA; presenters are also encouraged to become members of the GSNA. The 2013 MLA will take place in Boston from 3 to 6 January 2013.
