Special Session: German Pop Culture



This special session will address all aspects of pop culture in German literature, cultural history and theory. Topics may include, but are not limited to, the arts, film, TV culture, youth culture, food culture, popular literature, music, fashion, sports, games, and linguistics as they relate to the larger concept of pop culture. Papers addressing any pop culture topics and pop culture theory from a variety of periods in German history are encouraged.
