Monday, Ellen and I went to Burr Oak Woods, here in Blue Springs, just off of Strode Road, and had two Scissor-tailed Flycatchers along the fence on the east side of the open field. I believe that this is the first time I have seen them in Blue Springs, MO.

                Ten years ago there were no Scissor tailed Flycatchers  where we live near Lebanon. Today there were 4 pairs of  them on Tower Road from Fremont Road to Highway 32 ( a distance of 3 miles). Returning from Lebanon on Highway 5  another pair  at the airport.   Lester Pannell   Lebanon, Laclede county
