As for the Bluebirds, a very large number of them did not make it through the winter. I found several in my many birdhouses that had died during the late cold spells we had. The Carolina wrens are alive and well here. I had two pair already fledged 3 babies each. I am wren poor! I do feed mealworms in winter but cannot get the bluebirds to come to them just the wrens.
